Among the two new teams introduced to the IPL 2022 list was the Lucknow SuperGiants. In the Gujarat franchise, they perform alongside the Gujarat Titans. Under KL Rahul’s guidance, the team made a lasting impression on everyone by finishing third in their first season. KL Rahul, Quinton de Kock, Mark Wood, and Marcus Stoinis are the main attractions and outstanding players of the Lucknow SuperGiants that have signed for the game. The team finished third in the playoffs in the 2022 season. In the playoff match, they lost against Royal Challengers Bangalore and were eliminated from the tournament. LSG’s competitive team returns to the Indian Premier League in 2023, losing the elimination round against the Mumbai Indians after finishing third.
