The BCCI established the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League in 2007, and they known it as IPL 10 and promoted it as Vivo IPL 2017 and Star Clinic. The eight teams from the last season participated in the tournament. Hyderabad hosted the opening match and the final match in the 2017 season, which started on April 5, 2017, and concluded on May 21, 2017.
The Mumbai Indians were the first to achieve this when they overcame the Rising Pune Supergiant by one run in the final to clinch their third title. The slogan is Dus saal aapke naam, or “10 years of IPL.” Prior to Star Sports Network’s purchase of broadcasting rights for the tournament from the eleventh season and continuing to do so, Sony Television Network broadcast the competition for the last time. With 641 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner became the tournament’s highest run getter and received the Orange Cap.
With 26 wickets, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar emerged as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker and received the Purple Cap. Ben Stokes of the Rising Pune Supergiant was named the Most Valuable Player, and Gujarat Lions’ Basil Thampi was recognized as the Emerging Player of the Tournament.
