When owner Sanjeev Goenka announced the news on social media it was immediately met with a positive reception among both cricket fans and general netizens. Williamson is an excellent acquisition, one that represents something truly new for the team: a player who combines these subtle leadership qualities with tactical know-how and an ability to motivate teammates.
